Announcement: Rescheduling of HAPCOA National Law Enforcement Training Symposium
The Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association (HAPCOA) National
Board has decided to reschedule the National Law Enforcement Training Symposium,
initially planned for May 6 - 8, 2025, in Mesa, AZ. We aim to host this important event in
Spring 2026.
This decision comes in response to the recent pause in Federal Government hiring,
which has impacted many of our Federal Law Enforcement partners who are crucial to
the symposium’s success. This pause has led to a reduction in both sponsorship and
participation, adversely impacting our ability to deliver the high-quality training
experiences our members expect and deserve.
While we are disappointed to postpone, we view this as an opportunity to enhance the
upcoming event and strengthen our programs in the meantime. HAPCOA will continue
to engage actively with our members and chapters, support local programs and
humanitarian events, and collaborate with other affinity groups. Our commitment to
“Empowering the Future of Law Enforcement” remains steadfast.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this time. Please stay connected
for updates and developments. We look forward to seeing you at our rescheduled
symposium and thank you for your continued commitment to excellence in law
enforcement.
