May 30, 2019

HAPCOA National Board and San Antonio Chapter members attended the 44th Annual Heroes Luncheon sponsored by the 100 Club of San Antonio on Tuesday, May21st.

Attending and representing HAPCOA were National President Teresa Ramon, 4th Vice President Steve Reyna, National Secretary Mary Ruiz, Director at Large Don Tijerina and numerous San Antonio Chapter members. Also, an additional table was purchased by the San Antonio Chapter to provide seats for family members of fallen First Responders and staff of the 100 Club.

Since 1973, when San Antonio First Responders were sent into harm’s way and when they paid the ultimate sacrifice, the 100 Club of San Antonio has been there. The 100 Club of San Antonio serves the families of fallen Local, State & Federal Law Enforcement & Firefighters in Bexar County. Funds are available to the family for immediate needs, placing a strong emphasis on higher education funding for surviving dependent children.
