San Antonio HAPCOA Chapter and National Board Member Rolando Belmares has been selected as the Chief for the State of Texas Criminal Investigations Division State Board of Pharmacy. Chief Belmares will oversee State Police Investigators throughout the State of Texas investigating, fraud in the sale, dispensing and prescribing of illegal and prescription drugs. Fighting the current opioid academic is a priority mission for the State Investigators. This division is also responsible for the undercover operations involving Doctor’s Offices and Pharmacies abusing their authority by illegal drug practices. Chief Belmares Law Enforcement career spans over 22 years. Congratulations Chief Belmares!
