Congratulations to long-time HAPCOA member Maria del Carmen Irizarry-Rodriguez (retired Special Agent NCIS) on her just released novel entitled: The Last Magical Year.
Maria and Gary Logan (retired NCIS) spent the past several year researching and writing their first suspense novel. Maria provides the following synopsis: “While our country is racing to break the Above-Top-Secret Japanese Navy Tactical Code, a dangerously handsome Hispanic-American naval officer’s involvement in a forbidden love affair with the young daughter of America’s most powerful, but bigoted, industrial baron, sets the young pilot on a path of destruction, culminating with the heart-pounding events surrounding our nation’s most crucial battle: the epic naval air encounter near Midway Island in the Pacific.”
The book is published through lulu.com, and is available in paperback and eBook format.
